U.P nominated for People’s Design Award. Vote Today.

Alongside 89 other nominees, the U.P has the chance to win the People’s Design Award at this year’s 10th National Design Awards gala in New York City on October 22. Founded by the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in 2000, the gala promotes design as a world shaping tool and seek to increase national awareness of great design being conceived today.
The winners of the gala awards will also receive the opportunity to join in on workshops, lectures, roundtables and public programs across the nation through the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum’s Education Department. The award would also help us move toward our goal of starting a non-profit foundation to continue socially responsible creative projects such as this one. We would love to collaborate with the best national designers on bringing awareness to extraordinary design.
