Announcing our 6 month anniversary party.

Let The Uniform Project 6 Month Anniversary “AccesSoireé” begin! To memorialize the success of the first half of our Project, we’re calling all of our supporters to come party with us in a truly fabulous fashion, decked out to the nines. We’re bringing back our gal, Mary Nally, who brought you the first U.P Party in Galway, Ireland. This time, she’s throwing us the hottest dance party this side of the pond where she’s found a private penthouse loft that overlooks the Williamsburg Bridge so we can dance the night away.
So what exactly is the “AccesSoiree”? It’s a black and white attired ball where you enhance your get-ups with a single, smashing recycled or vintage accessory. So come with black and white as the canvas for your very finest or funkiest vintage accessory; surprise us with an original re-purposed piece of decorative decadence and go for the gold. Our trusty judges will announce the best adornment of the night, and give the winner a posh potable prize.
This unique event is a celebration of style and sensibility, fashion and frugality, glamour and consciousness. Fabulously contradictory and really just another excuse to throw a party, guests will be treated to a guilt free night of class and decadence.
Upping the ante in ethical fashion the face of the project, Sheena, will be dressed head to toe by the swiftly rising star and young designer Raffaele Ascione. Ascione shows us how to do couture with a conscience like no other.
DJ sets by fashion darling Judi Rosen, The Juan MacLean’s Nancy Wang and more from New York’s finest DFA crew to name but a few… So get your tickets while they’re hot, come meet Sheena, Eliza and the U.P gang, stun us with your best accessory and help put the fun back into fundraising.
It is a strictly private party with a limited amount of tickets available for fans where, as always, all proceeds will go to The Akanksha Foundation. We look forward to seeing you!
