I was actually having this conversation with a friend – the rest of the week is so tiring that I hardly make an effort, but you feel so much better when you look fab – we christened it make-an-effort-friday, but Fab Friday is a bit catchier 😉 you look gorgeous – I’m loving this dress as I was waiting for something that could be worn as a suit, since I have to wear a matching suit every day. Dancing must’ve been good because here we are Saturday afternoon at 5 pm (Atlantic) and no LBD!

@ Claire in Oxford – is there a wrong side of 40? i don’t think so… you could totally wear this, just perhaps lengthened as desired, if short dresses aren’t your thing. would look very elegant, 50s silhouette

It’s also worth noting that this is the shorter version (went back to it for dancing) the actual dress will be 1″ longer, def makes a difference.

The rainbow umbrella was procured in Rome right before a night in Spain ^.~
