Day 4

Hustle and Bustle

So I just got word (at least according to a gazillion people on my FB page) that my Aveeno commercial is on TV. Have any of you – fair & loyal Uniform Projecteers – seen it? I’m working with them on the Be an Active Natural Campaign and a new beauty care line called Smart Essentials, which is focused on the use of effective, natural ingredients.

Anyway, it was a total blast to shoot. We filmed it all in New Zealand. The idea was to recreate elements of my [rather hectic] life – and cram it all in 60 seconds. But alas! I’m a bit out of the loop; I haven’t even seen the final cut…If you see it, let me know what you think!

But now back to your regular scheduled program: I decided to do a back-to-back bustle. I was feeling a romantic & frilly and the ruffled blouse (Raleigh Vintage) & lace dress by Minna happened to look at home w/a bustle. I topped off the look w/vintage lace gloves, 1950s crinoline, & an Italian “carpet” bag (Amarcord), & skull cap (Ryan Wilde). Not to mention strappy organic cotton heels from my Payless collection, Zoe&Zac.

(Which btw Payless is so amazing & supportive (thanks LuAnn!!!). They are not only matching funds raised here for charity: water (up to $10K), but they will also give you a 50% off offer for a Zoe&Zac product if you give $10+ (yay!). But you’ll have to wait till the end of my UP term to receive it (sniffles)…But in the meantime – 27 more wonderful LBD days to go w/ all of you!

Oh my goodness! You look gorgeous! I just tuned in to your dailies because this website is not working on Internet Explorer and I just figured out that I could use Mozilla instead. **Bonks herself on the head** Anyways, I ADORE vintage lace and this outfit is my favorite of yours so far!

Skull Cap! I love it! The whole outfit is so romantic and sweet. And the skull cap adds just the right amount of whimsy and mischief.

How soft & pretty! The setting with the window light, vines, and red chair is just right. A favorite. Thanks!

Apologies to all the IE folk, we’re aware of the issue, working on it. In the meantime please use mozilla. Thanks!
