Frozen Floral
Is it strange to wear summery florals the day after the first snow?! Not when the florals in question are part of this vintage WOOL skirt I thrifted last weekend. These type of floral skirts are often made of cotton or linen, so I was pumped to find this wool version, by British brand Geiger. My studio mate Sarah (who sells vintage) informed me that these are her favorite skirts to find, they are always very well made with a great fit..I couldn’t agree more! I’m wearing it with a black dress/top by Complex Geometries, leather/jersey leggings, my fave black boots, an elastic belt and my Coconut Spike necklace ALSO: I finally found the perfect outfit to wear the dress open as a long vest! I’ve tried this a few other times, but am most happy with the dress as a vest here.
Only 2 MORE DAYS wearing the dress! I wonder, will I miss it….has it become a security blanket for me?!

My only query is that the dress looks rather like a housecoat here – but then I suppose that’s echoed by the print on the skirt, so oh well, its a look!

at first I was nervous about this dress but you have an amazing way of changing it up everyday to make it look more and more creative. I wish you would continue this project longer and see how long it would take to reach your goal. Is that possible?
