Day 27

Big Love

Todays outfit reminds me a little bit of Big Love…I feel a bit like a nun, but a modern artsy nun….hmmm, strange but cozy. I woke up to a freezing apartment and lots of snow on the ground, so I really layered up. I’m wearing jeans under the dress, wool socks, boots, a long sleeved black waffle knit top and a long sleeved button up shirt I designed a few years ago. I wore the dress over these layers, with the deep V to the front, then layered a grey woolly sweater over all that. Phew! It’s not even that cold out yet, the first snow is always hard to wake up to though! I’m also wearing a circle scarf that I’ve been experimenting with…the idea has been rolling around in my head for awhile and I finally got around to making it last night out of desperation…I had forgotten my scarf at home! 4 days left to donate >

you seem to have taken the most unlikely dress and worked it for the whole month without engendering the negative feedback other pilots had to suffer. has to be a record?

Thanks guys!

Holly – I feel very lucky! Phew! I think that people won’t always like what I wear (this has been true for me since I was 14…def. had my share of being teased for what I was wearing over the years) but they can’t fault me for not putting in enough effort…maybe that’s why I’ve gotten through relatively unscathed?! Still 3 days left!

Your sense of style and creativity has been evident all month. Congratulations on being a participant. I’m sure the children you have helped will benefit from your efforts.
