Flip Side
Today I took a styling tip from two of my favorite style bloggers Susie of Style Bubble and Jennine of The Coveted… I wore my cardigan upside down! I remember seeing these two bloggers working this look many a time…but for some reason I rarely try it myself and thought it was about time! When I picked up this vintage double breasted 1950s cardigan while thrifting this past weekend I thought it was the perfect candidate. Concering the dress….I wore it in a very strange way today….as a halter. I picked out one of my sturdier necklaces, looped it through the armhole and fastened it around my neck. The other half of the bodice was then tucked into the back of the skirt. The only thing about this that is slightly awkward about this is that since I’m essentially wearing the dress sideways there is a pocket right at the front of the dress, although it’s quite subtle since it’s in the side seam. A patterned tank, one of my vintage elastic belts and brown boots finish things off.
