Jean Genie
Today was a busy day of running around…First stop, the studio to work on some orders and meet with a stylist who’s borrowing some of my designs for a shoot on Monday. Then off to Home Depot with Tyson (hubby) and Marc (studio mate) to pick up some supplies for Smart Design Mart an indie design fair we’re throwing in 2 weeks. Then back to the studio to pack up orders to bring to the post office tomorrow. After that Marc and I decided to treat ourselves to a bit of thrifting! I haven’t bought any clothing for myself in months, so it was a nice treat! We decided to have people over for dinner and drinks tonight, so the boys are now off getting ingredients and I’m at home….writing this!
I’m wearing the dress with the V to the front and a vintage denim skirt over it, unbuttoned almost all the way. A cardigan I picked up in London last year, grey boots, vintage leather belt and a sweet necklace from etsy seller The Vamoose (a gift from my sister) round things out.
We’re soooooo close to $1500, let’s make it happen TONIGHT! Tell your friends, tell your family…even if you just spread the word about Free the Children you’re definitely doing something to help make people aware…now GO! Do it!

I’ve absolutely loved the rest of your looks, but I think I would like this better if the denim skirt was buttoned.

Looove the cardigan, gorgeous! But don’t like the denim skirt on this outfit. Maybe Emmy is right, buttoned up would be better?

Oh and I love that you wore the dress with the low v in front. More of that please. 🙂
