Expeditious Weekend
I’m off to San Francisco until Monday. I land just in time for dinner with my friend and advisor, Damon, then head out early on Sunday for a long, trail run in the Marin Headlands.
I love getting outdoors. Feeling the earth beneath my feet and the way my strong legs carry me up a hill and gossamers of fog floating finely on the cool morning air. Rejuvenating.
Many of us wait until we’re too stressed or run down. This is my pre-emptive prescription to health and wellness – with doses of work in between.
So what will I be bringing to SF? Besides my running gear, my LBD of course! And some accessories, but I can’t do a great reveal quite yet. Only a peek at today’s little treat: Outside brunch at Aurora Ristorante in a Navajo-print vintage skirt compliments of eBay Green Team; print bolero with coconut button by Tara St. James of STUDY NY; Christian Siriano bark-cloth belt; Charmone Shoes; and a Chinese wood-gem necklace that my mom got me from a museum, pulled from a forgotten jewelry box locked away in a closet somewhere…

Another sweet, sweet one without being saccharine. And the Studio bolero is so perfect with the skirt.

And I’m also with md – as a fellow runner (well, road runner / marathoner more than trail runner) who is inspired by fashion, I admit that I’m inspired!
