a long but awesome day
I’m sorry I’m getting my outfit to you guys so late in the day. Truth be told, I took these pix this morning before I left for work but didn’t have time to upload them into my computer. I got a new job (!!!) and it takes me about an hour via subway to get there, so I’m still figuring out the whole time-management thing, but please stick with me as I keep sticking with the dress. Come visit the site and tell your friends and make donations and all that good stuff. I need your help! It’s actually 10pm right now and after I send this out, I’m hitting the sheets and going to sleep. Even though it was too hot for the leather jacket, I wore it anyway (it ended up draped over my bag most of the time) and it’s from a company called MadeMe. I got it a few years ago when I worked at Missbehave and it was the best purchase ever. I kind of even want to get another one (the zipper is broken, boo). Oh and look–I wore a brooch! Who knew? I didn’t. I got this brooch a million years ago and literally think this is the first time I’ve ever worn it. I’m not much a “brooch person” but wearing the same dress everyday will lead one to all sorts of wacky accessories. Oh and look at my socks! They look like strawberries. They are from a company called Baron Von Fancy. I wish I had other fruit socks but strawberries are good for now. I’m also getting sick of socks and sandals and think I need to change it up. Okay, off to sleep. Love you mean it.

I was just looking through the fantastic pictures of sheena, so much fun every day, her smile, the ideas, I really miss her. And you know what, it’s obvious why the donations are only dripping: This month is boring as hell.

Wait whats new? Oh the brooch, you never wear some interesting jewelry before, right. And the sock-thing again and your apartment again and your hair plus the lipstick, oh looks like the neighbour of my in-laws, but she is 73. But at least you seem to have time discreating the U.P….

I do appreciate that this is a challenge and that you’re putting yourself out there for public scrutiny. But even today — starting a new job — there’s not much energy in the photos. You are in NYC (as am I), so there’s energy outside that could be harnessed for the photos and the looks themselves. I want to see more donations roll in, as does everyone here!
