Somebody hold me!
I’ve managed to avoid getting sick for most of the summer and was on a roll this fall untill now! I think i have a cold. I’m not sure yet but my body aches and i’ve collected mountains of tissue boxes. You may not notice in the photo ( a little concealer can hide anything! ) but i think im sick! I’ve popped a bunch of multi-vitamins and i’m currently drinking orange juice. I know my mom follows me on this thing so — cough … soup?
Today i’ve brought out my knee high vintage suede multi color boots. I got them a couple seasons ago at one of my favorite vintage stores in toronto –Â 69 VINTAGE. Not only do i love the store the owner has a great eye for great vintage and a heart as big as our native CN- Tower. Theres something to be said about store owners who are actually nice people.. especially if you are essentially selling pre-worn dead peoples clothes! It’s the truth! lol. I’m going to lay down and if some handsome topless male model wants to bring me some soup i promise i wont be mad… but then again odds are it will probably just be my mom.

hey chica, hope you feel better soon. Mom’s soup is great start. Love what you’ve done today. The subtle addition of colour from the boots is a nice touch. Now go rest while we round up some man-servants for you. 😉

BTW, for the throat, try warmed up cranberry juice. yes, I know, it sounds disgusting – but the warmed up acidity will help clear the gunk out of your throat. Just sayin’

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the boots!!! LLLLOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEE anything vintage in general! I’m so proud of you, my fellow canadian! And I really liek teh way you made the dress look really sophisticated with teh skinny belt, then made it totally free-spirited with the colorful boots. And you deserve better than a shallow model.

Amazing boots. I love this whole outfit. The blazer, belt, boots… can’t wait to get my hands on this dress. And since I live in Toronto, I’ll have to check out that vintage store!

I’ve been thinking about a cool Halloween costume for you. I think you might like it. Would be perfect for the dress! Holly Golightly aka Audrey Hepburn’s caracter in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Just trown on some pearls and hold super long cigarette! By the way, love today’s outfit! Esp the blazer!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your sense of humor; you rock girl!

Hot when you’re sick and hot when you’re not. Love it! I suspect the previous owner of the boots may have died fighting for those boots. I know I’d kill for them.

you are so awesome!! feel better (get lots of rest and liquids!!!)

Love the outfit. It’s always astonishing how different black can look with layers, belt and just a tiny bit of colour.
I’m jealous of you Canadians and Americans. In Germany there are not a lot of vintage stores and if there are they are either too expensive or too shabby. So I don’t really get to cool vintage clothes except for lucky picks at ebay and on some flea markets.
Get well soon!

Give me your boots. Give me your boots NOW.

Oh, I love the idea for the Halloween costume by Yellowdaisy 🙂 anyway, back to this outfit… what can I say, you just look amazing day after day!! If I didn’t know, I would have never guessed that you are still wearing the same dress. Keep up the good work and get well soon.

toronto seriously wins at having lots of amazing vintage shops within a relatively small geographical area. it’s hard to get sartorially bored in this town.
