I love the red peeking out and the shoes! You said you don’t like the short length but all the skirts you put underneath makes the LBD look new every day.

the outfit is ok, the only issue is the dress itself, the material made it look unclassy, just like a bathrobe on the pictures, it’s a shame…

go on – wear the trackie daks with the dress – be a devil – dress in down on Sunday – at least it would be something different … look – the red is cool – don’t get me wrong, but there’s not a lot of mish mash going on and the dress (which is cool) just looks like the dress…

I think your mission is so difficult because the design of the dress is a little bit wrong for UP project.
You can’t change the manner to wear it,it’s every day the same.Can you open it? can you turn it?

yeah i agree with fius, this dress, though lovely, makes it difficult to create lots of variety, because it’s not that versatile…

you have a lovely shoe collection but the dress is getting a little boring, can’t you wear it back to front or something?? or maybe a hat? i don’t think people are being inspired enough to donate! keep going and try to be more enthusiastic!! 😀

You know, you aren’t allowed to buy anything NEW, but I do believe you are permitted to get donations from companies and friends, and to buy at vintage stores and garage sales. So if you’re feeling stuck and uninspired, well, try sifting through garage sales, or go to a really cool local store and ask for donations of accessories. And please. Stop. Complaining.

I just had an idea – this would be much more versatile if the dress was lined with different fabric, and it could then be turned inside out, the sleeves turned back, etc.

I agree, please stop complaining. It makes it difficult to want to look at the website, which doesnt do the UP any good as a whole. And isnt this also supposed to be about fundraising for a worthy cause? How about encorporating a bit about your chosen project into your daily postings?

wearing something uncomfortable is a total bummer. so since Lesley has been wearing this for 11 days while waiting for the fabric to be fixed i think her candid lack of enthusiasm is justified… working it out o:)

Funny how people can take things two different ways, ya know? I don’t find Lesley to be a complainer at all. She’s blogging honestly about her life in the dress. I want those shoes.

Maybe it would be interesting seeing you outside of your little apartment, let your boyfriend take the picture – what do you think?

please stop complaining. its ok to say how u feel but your complaints took up like the whole blog post. the only thing nice about this outfit is the shoes. come on. i want India back!

I love how the little dress makes it almost cutesy, but then the shoes bring it back to badass town! Love it! I read these words in your post – Saturday, weird planet, oyster, warm, boyfriend, happy, egg sandwich. Don’t think I got the complaining 🙂

Okay, so now you’re just “posing for pictures” rather than really “wearing” your outfit. Seems a shame. You’re really taking the fun out of the challenge. I hate to say it but your lack of enthusiasm is translating into my lack of enthusiasm for UP this month.
