really classy and beautifully cut dress, i’m excited for the month to come!

Love, Love, Love it! I love that the dress is long and I love your cause. I do have one question….how do you wear a bra with that dress since the back has such a deep V?

(@ J – I don’t know about Angie, but I don’t wear a bra, so the deep V in the back doesn’t bother me, and it opens up LOTS and LOTS of possibilities for design. <3 )

Can’t wait to see what you do! I’m not sure if all of the Pilots adhere to the same rules as Sheena. Perhaps one day you could let us know what limitations you are imposing on yourself (second hand stuff only, donations, etc.)

I dont wear short skirts so I am really looking forward to seeing what you will do.

Yeah! Excited to get started! To answer questions:
– The dress is reversible, so the deep back can also be a deep front.
– RE the bra: It will be a non-issue when I’m layering the dress…when not layering…wear a cute bra! I’m also a big fan of sports bras in this situation…
– RE the “rules”: We’re generally following the same rules as Sheena. I have a HUGE collection of vintage in my personal wardrobe, built up over many years, so I’ll be incorporating a lot of those goodies.

Very interesting… because of the strong flaps in the back, it makes it look like you’re definitely wearing it ‘backwards’. Could you tuck them under?? (not sure what that would do to the collar part at your neck. Anyway…this is quite the challenge! Good luck! 🙂

I’m really looking forward to seeing what you do with a LONG dress! With the buttons all the way up you’ll be able to wear it fully closed or open it up all the way like a coat, and everything in between.

Funny, lots of people say you’re “brave” for doing the long dress, but I’ve thought the short ones were brave. I prefer long skirts/dresses b/c I can’t wear anything to work above my knees (and I spend more time @ work!). I’m excited about this; finally something I could wear! Welcome!

Oh, and I hope you’ll tell us when you’re wearing each fabric so we can see what the difference looks like….

Your etsy shop is wonderful and so I cannot wait to see what you do this month. I am especially curious because the dress looks a little baggy to me…almost like it is a size too big. I am sure you must have lots of ideas in mind that will show me how it’s done. Good luck!
