(just a bit of) the beauty method
hi i went to the nearest town called Couer d’alene this morning. i found a beautiful spot to take the photos with my outfit, so no Kaya today 🙂 i always think of the total image of the pictures because that’s how i send everyone the beauty of my LBD and how my life with it is. my LBD has a very simple flat layered design with only straight lines just like a imono. kimono actually makes original beautiful lines with your body with its flat and straight design. they fit every body in a unique way. so i expected my LBD to have new feelings with any modern garment. because i didn’t want it to be “just a black dress” but “a meaningful black dress”. anyway, i always think of the total impression in the picture which means that i play with my LBD’s character and environment including the garments i suit with. you might be able to see how i played with the colors and lines around me if you see some of my past pictures([1]/[2]/[3]) i don’t usually like to tell how and why my creation is beautiful haha:) cuz you are the one to decide if it’s beautiful or not. but i wanted to talk about it this time because i was glad that my outfit seemed fitting with this small sweet town. and also because always thank you all for finding the goodness of my work and i could realize many things! thanks all, hope you find your own creativity everyday, you can find the good one at [here] too <3 happy december 13 xa
today’s outfit: my LBD, check jacket by [akigoto], maroon stockings, vintage winter boots

I love the total effect of the fourth picture, especially the movement in your hair. I’m really enjoying this month, especially the snow, which I cannot experience now because I live in Hawaii. I also love your charity because my nephew had cancer at 6 years old. Thank you!

One of my frustrations with our modern way of life is the sense that people seem to have of not being able to do anything themselves–it’s always got to be left in the hands of some sort of experts. Your clothing designs totally smash down that wall and make the idea of creating fashion totally accessible. It’s really fashion for the people. Your jacket is Inspiring.

#4 looks like the wall from “Letters to Juliet”…. What is written on the papers hanging on the wall?

love your handmade diy aesthetic. so you’ve combined two jackets into one here? did you hand-sew this? i’ve got a huge bag of bits and parts of old clothes, and have been tempted by your experiments in clothing to start sewing things together… you make it look fun!
